Video of Cebu Metro Cathedral

This video was actually taken earlier than the photos of Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral I posted on November 1.

Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral

Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral

Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral is one of the two popular catholic churches in Cebu City.

I’ve had a very close encounter with this magnificent church back in college. As an architecture student, I and my group mates were assigned to do a documentation of the whole church complex. In simple terms, we drew a floor plan. What we basically did was manually measure all the floors meter by meter, centimeter by centimeter, then draw it by hand.

Cebu Bethel Temple

It’s time for a little diversion from the usual old Catholic churches photos here. I started going to this church in 1995.

Cebu Bethel Temple is an Assemblies of God affiliate pentecostal church founded in 1955 under a mango tree in Banawa. Though, its first formal building venue was first located in Sanciangko st., it was called Cebu Revival Center then.

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish

I went to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Punta Princesa in Labangon to visit the wake of the father of Richard, one of the regular visitors of this site. So I grabbed the chance to shoot this massive modern Catholic church.

Contact number and address of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish:
Punta Princesa, 6000 Cebu City

This was taken at almost 6:00pm.

Then followed by the officiating priest.

I was trying to zoom in the electronic message board, but this is the distance my lens could only do.

The table has beautifully carved design of the Last Supper.

Sto. Rosario Church

Sto. Rosario Church is a Roman Catholic Church established in 1933. It is located along P. Del Rosario St., Cebu City. It’s just nearby University of San Carlos Main Campus. These are their contact numbers: 255-5570 to 79. I’m not sure if this is the latest number.

Basilica del Santo Niño de Cebu

Above is it’s formal name in Spanish. But it can be called simply Sto. Niño de Cebu or just Sto. Niño (read as Ninio). If you’re interested in going to Sto. Nino de Cebu, the map is just below this page.
