I always see this mural painting everytime I pass by this area in Banilad, near Metrobank. It’s time to take a photo of it.
I have no idea who painted this, probably made by a female artist.
Female artist named Mau?
With an alias of Karingkay Hardchick?
Beside the mural of Hardchick is this another beautifully done wall painting.
This is the second installment of my Cebu City Street Art series.
The Part 1 was mostly, or should I say entirely shot at the Queen City Gardens cemetery.
This set was shot in Cebu South Road, just at the entrance of F. Llamas St., Mambaling, in front of McDonalds.
I personally like the quality of these graffiti than the ones at Queen City Gardens (Part 1).
Sipat, meaning “naughty”.
Nah, dili nako ma basa!
Ran X-Men diay!
I can’t read this too.
Rasta, the mural painter is obviously into reggae music.
The whole wall.
ILove Cebu. 🙂
These street mural can be seen along Queen City Memorial Garden, located in Cebu Reclamation Area, just close to Gaisano White Gold and SM Supermarket.
I started shooting at the SM side.
We used to have our own mural art here in 1997, we painted it at the old White Gold/Queensland side. It was part of a mural art contest. We did not win, but we got a consolation prize of P700, I think.
At first glance, I thought it was a real person.
I think this murals were sponsored by the Perfect World online game.
I think the theme for these murals is promoting responsible gaming.
This is a good painting, nicely done.
Freestyle, an online basketball game. I used to play this everytime I visit the gaming cafe.
The caricature looks good, but overall it looks bare.
Using old fonts for a modern game.
RF Online. Not for kids. 😀
Level Up, is the company behind Ragnarok, the first online game in the Philippines.
Play Hard, Study Harder. I hope the gaming kids follow this.
Voyager, I have not played this game.
Another version of the art based from Freestyle.
